QR codes are an easy way to boost member participation in your rewards program! In this article, you'll find step by step instructions on how to create a QR code automation.
To get started, Navigate to Settings ⚙️ > Automations.
Click Add>Office Visit QR Code.
Create a title for your Automation.
Next, choose the groups of members who will be allowed to receive points from this Automation.
In the When section, determine how frequently members will be allowed to receive points through this Automation.
In the What section, set the number of points members will receive. You may also activate the Auto Tag feature so scans automatically award points AND change tags.
For example, if the QR code is to award points for "Office Visit" which applies to multiple groups, leave the Auto Tag feature off. However, if the QR code is for "Debonding" for example, then you may set the Auto Tag to change the member's tag to "Retention."
Click Activate Automation to launch your new automation!
A pop-up will appear showing the created assets. These include:
- Flyers, posters, and TV displays that you can showcase anywhere you like
- FAQ sheets to answer any questions from your members
- The QR code
Click the Calendar icons next to each of these to schedule them in your Marketing Calendar.
Please note, that if a member scans a QR code and they have not yet registered their account, they can enter their name and date of birth to claim their points. Afterwards, they will be directed to complete the registration process.
If a member cannot scan a QR code for any reason, no problem! We recommend adding a reward item to your menu that corresponds with the QR Code points. To manually award the points, simply go to the member's profile, click the Add Points tab, and choose the appropriate reward item to ensure they continue earning and progressing.
