It’s officially the start of the back-to-back-to-back holiday season and your Hub is the perfect place to spread joy, gratitude, and connection with your members. From spooky fun in October to heartfelt thanks in November to generosity in December, we’ve got creative ways to help you make the most of the season.

You can find detailed instructions below on how to action on all of these ideas. Now— let’s get festive!

OCTOBER: Tricks, Treats & Playful Engagement

The month of tricks and treats is here! Bring the Halloween spirit to your Hub with playful contests, fun surveys, and shareable social media moments.

  • Candy Buyback: Last month’s Hub Action Plan focused on how to set up your a candy buyback program that focuses on more than just receiving treats, but how to build community and generate engagement opportunities.
  • Pre-Halloween Fun: Encourage members who will be in the office on 10/30 - 10/31 to wear their costume for Hub points! If they’re not in office, encourage them to share a photo on social media as another way to earn bonus points.

NOVEMBER: Gratitude in Action

November is the perfect time to show appreciation and strengthen your member connections.

  • Say Thanks with Automations: Surprise your members with bonus points on Thanksgiving by setting up a holiday automation. It’s a small, but impactful gesture that sparks delight and keeps your brand top of mind during the busy holiday season.
  • Give and Get Thanks Referral Campaign: This holiday season, give your members a gift that feels like a VIP Black Friday deal: an exclusive referral perk just for their friends and family! Launch a special referral campaign your members can easily share, host an in-person event to welcome new sign-ups, and boost participation with rewards points. Everyone gets to give and get thanks this season.
  • Listen & Learn: Launch a survey to gather honest feedback from your members. It gives them a chance to offer helpful feedback ahead of the new year and rewards them for sharing their thoughts.

DECEMBER: Giving Back Together

This holiday season, turn your Hub into a place of generosity by creating opportunities for your community to give back.

  • Charity Donations: Allow members to redeem points toward donations for a cause that matters to your organization — and take it one step further by offering to match their contributions!
  • Toy or Canned Food Drive: Turn your office into Santa’s workshop this season by hosting a toy or canned food drive leading up to the new year. You can give out points for participating, ensuring your office will be buzzing with good energy!
  • QR Code Elf Scavenger Hunt: One of our favorite holiday traditions! Members can search for graphic elves hidden around your space. Once found they’ll scan the elf’s QR code, and instantly award themselves points. It’s a playful, festive way to engage your members and simple for you to set up.

💡 Pro Top: Use your Hub’s Promotion feature to announce your initiatives. The promotion will automatically send out a message with all the important information to your members and provides social-ready assets so you can spread awareness with ease.
