Step 2: Add a New Program Link

  • Click the Add button.

Step 3: Fill Out the Program Link Form

  • Description: Enter Patient Rewards Hub

  • Check the box for Enabled.

Step 4: Choose Your Browser

You'll need to tell Open Dental which browser to open. Here are paths for the three most popular browsers on Windows. Choose the one you use:

  • Google Chrome: C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

  • Microsoft Edge: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe

  • Mozilla Firefox: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

Enter the browser path into the field labeled Path of file to open.

Step 5: Enter the URL

In the box labeled Optional command line arguments, copy and paste this link:

https://my.patientrewardshub.com/users/hubsync/lookup/[PatNum]

Step 6: Set Up Your Button

  • Under Button Settings, click MainToolbar to place your button on the main toolbar.

  • Click Import to upload the button image below. (right click and save or drag and drop to your desktop)

  • You don't need any text on the button; the image is enough.

Step 7: Add a Helpful Note

In the Notes section, you might want to add something like:

Opens Patient Rewards Hub with current patient's details.

Step 8: Finish Setup

  • Click OK to save.

That's it! Now you have a handy button in OpenDental to quickly access the Patient Rewards Hub for any patient you're currently viewing.

Important Note:

This setup must be done on each workstation. Users can have different browsers or installation paths.
