Reviews are one of the most powerful ways for your community to find you. When members share their experience in your Hub, they’re telling friends, family, and neighbors exactly why you’re worth choosing. And when you reward that moment, you turn happy members into your most trusted advocates. ⭐

Review Settings

Two separate settings control Hub reviews. Knowing which one does what keeps setup simple.

Setting What it controls
Access Control Who can leave a Hub review. When Reviews is on, eligible members see the option to leave one. When it’s off, the review option is hidden.
Review Automations Whether members earn points for reviewing or sharing. Automations don’t control whether the review option shows up.

Choose the setup that fits your business:

You want… Access Control Review Automations
Reviews with point rewards On Active
Reviews without point rewards On Off or not added
No Hub reviews at all Off Off or not added

Separating these settings gives you full control. Some businesses prefer reviews with no incentive attached. Others use points to build momentum. Either way, you decide.

Set Up Your Review Reward Automations

Automations run quietly in the background, so every review and every Facebook share is rewarded instantly, with no manual step for your team.

There are two review automations. Turn on both to get the most out of your reviews:

Automation What it rewards Why it matters
Hub Review A member writes a review in your Hub. It builds your library of authentic, 5-star stories.
Sharing a Review on Facebook A member shares their review on their own Facebook page. It puts word-of-mouth in front of their personal network, which is where new members come from.

To add them from the Marketplace:

  1. Click Marketplace in the top navigation.
  2. In the search bar, keep Automation Recipe selected.
  3. Find the Hub Review recipe (“Reward for a Hub Review”) and click it.
  4. Choose the reward item (the points) your members will earn, then save and activate it.
  5. Repeat these steps for the Sharing a Review on Facebook recipe.

Or start from your Automations page:

  1. Go to Manage > Automations.
  2. Click + Add and select the review automation you want.

After you save, both automations appear under the Active tab on your Automations page. That tab also shows how many members each automation has reached.

💡 Tip: If the reward item you want doesn’t exist yet, create it first under Manage > Reward Menu.

Who Can Leave a Hub Review

Even when Access Control is on, a member only sees the review option if they are over 13. The Hub never asks underage members for a review. This is by design, to keep review requests appropriate.

💡 Family and pediatric businesses: If a parent or guardian tells you they can’t find the review option, check whose profile they’re logged into. A young child’s profile won’t show it. The parent or guardian can leave the review from their own registered account instead.
