Your Intake & Registration settings decide two things: who can join your Hub on their own, and what details you collect when they do. A few seconds here shapes every first impression, so new members get a smooth welcome and your team gets the information it actually needs.

Think of it as your front door. You choose whether it's open to everyone or by invitation, and what you ask at the door.

How to Find Your Intake & Registration Settings

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️ > Other Settings.
  2. Click General in the left menu.
  3. Find the Intake & Registration section.
  4. Use the toggles to turn each option on or off. Blue means on.

Collect Parent/Guardian Information

What it does: When this is on, your lead forms and member signup ask for parent or guardian details whenever the member is under 18.

Why it matters: For younger members, the parent or guardian is usually the one booking appointments, making decisions, and cheering their child on. Capturing their details up front means your team knows exactly who to reach, and families stay connected to the rewards and recognition their child earns.

When to turn it off: If your company rarely has members under 18, turning this off keeps signup shorter and simpler.

Allow Self-Registration

What it does: When this is on, people can join your Hub from your signup page without a code. When it's off, they'll need one of these to join:

  • A membership card
  • An email invite
  • Your business code

Why it matters: Self-registration removes friction. Anyone who hears about your Hub, whether from a friend, a social post, or your front desk, can jump in right away. That means more members, more engagement, and more people sharing the love for your business.

When to turn it off: Turn it off when you want your Hub to be invitation-only, so every new member comes through your team. This gives you tighter control over who joins.

Good to Know

Self-registered members aren't leads. People who join on their own come in as members with a self-registered tag, not as leads in your Lead Pipeline. Use that tag to find them, welcome them, or add them to the right group.

Changes apply going forward. Turning a setting on or off affects new signups. Members who already joined aren't changed.

Every new member is a chance to connect. Set your front door the way that fits your business, and let the Hub take it from there. 👍
