The Communications Manager is your all-in-one tool to stay connected with your members through in-app notifications, emails, or both—making engagement seamless and personalized.
Now, with ready-made, customizable templates available in Marketplace, it’s easier than ever to send timely messages for birthdays, check-ins, reminders, and more. Templates can be edited and saved for future use within both the Communications Manager and Automations.
Templates in Marketplace
From your Home page, click on Marketplace. Navigate to the Communications section to browse templates or use filters (like Favorites) to narrow your search.
Click an image to preview the full message. Click Use Template to get started. Next, customize the message to fit your purpose and branding.
Once, the template is saved, navigate to Manage> Communications to prepare your message to send.
1️⃣ WHO: Choose Your Recipients
Targeting Made Simple:
By Name: Send to individual members by typing their names and selecting from the dropdown.
By Type, Group, Tag: Perfect for broader messaging—select groups or refine with tag filters.
⚠️ Important: Members must have a registered and verified email to receive emails. In-app notifications do not have this restriction.
2️⃣ WHAT: Compose Your Message
Templates: Start with a saved template or create a new message from scratch.
Personalization with Variables: Use the Variable Cloud to drag-and-drop placeholders like "Recipient First Name." This ensures each message feels personal and tailored.
Formatting: Use the text toolbar to change fonts, colors, and sizes.
Insert images: Click the mountain icon to upload from your device.
Preview Mode: Before sending, click Preview to see exactly what your recipients will see. Use icons at the top to toggle between email view and in-app view.
3️⃣ WHERE: Choose Your Communication Channel
You can select one or both methods:
Email: Delivers full-text and image-rich content straight to inboxes.
In-App Notification: Sends a text-only pop-up within your members’ mobile app.
4️⃣ WHEN: Set Your Messaging Schedule
Schedule Future Sends: Choose the date and time your message goes out. Set it to repeat (e.g., daily, weekly) or stop after a set period.
Custom Scheduling: For messages that need specific days (e.g., Mondays and Fridays), use the Custom option in the repeat dropdown.
Send Now: Ready to launch? Click Send Now for immediate delivery.
