Setting Up Posts for Reviews

Follow

Social Media Manager can automatically post published and featured Reviews to your social networks for you.

Setting up automatic posts for Reviews involves one simple setting: the expiration date.

How It Works

When you approve reviews, Social Media Manager does not immediately post them. Instead, it adds them as approved content to the Content Library. It will then post them to your social networks according to the frequency settings you will set in AutoPost settings.

By setting the expiration date for reviews, you're telling Social Media Manager when a review should be removed from the approved content in the Content Library. This prevents an outdated review from being posted.

Head to “Review Settings”

Click on the “Manage” tab at the top of your Home screen, and select “Social Media Manager” from the drop-down.

Click on “Settings”

Click on “#2 - Program Activities”

Click on “Reviews”

This is where you will establish how long Social Media Manager displays your reviews:

  • When a Review is Featured
  • When a Review is Published

Start by Configuring 'When a Review is Featured'

Click on the ‘When a Review is Featured’ mantle, then use the textbox and drop-down list to set an expiration that will determine how long your general reviews will stay approved in the Content Library.

Finish by clicking "Save."

Configure 'When a Review is Featured'

Click on the ‘When a Review is Published’ mantle, then use the textbox and drop-down list to set an expiration that will determine how long your featured reviews will stay approved in the Content Library.

Finish by clicking "Save."

And that’s it! We've just told Social Media Manager how long to keep both your featured and published reviews approved in the Content Library.
