Exporting a Patient Report: Ortho2

Step 1: How to export information

From the main screen of the Ortho2 website, click on Current Users, and enter the practice ID information. Download the ViewPoint Report Repository (the third "Bubble"). Choose Repository with categories and choose Misc. Reports - PracticeGeniusReport

Files to Download
Click "Save" and follow the instructions below:

  1. Click the attached file to see a window pop up containing two files
  2. Select all files and click "Copy" from the File menu
  3. From your desktop, double-click "My Computer," and navigate to C:/ProgramFiles/Ortho2/Reports/Custom
  4. Select "Paste" from the File menu


Step 2: Run Report in ViewPoint

  1. Select "Practice Reports."
  2. Select "Custom Directory."
  3. Select "PracticeGenius."
  4. Set the status to include "Click All" or select the status that would best apply.
  5. Click "OK."
Print options. Click "Export." This action will bring up a screen for the file, where you will enter the file name.
Click "Save As." Select Plain Text as the file type in the drop-down menu.
Click "Save," then click "Run."
